Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions clients most often ask before and after getting the access control device.

How quickly can I start using the system?

Very quickly — most of the work is on us. Once payment is made, the device is usually ready and configured in about 2 days. If the device isn't in stock, delivery time is added to that, and we let you know in advance. As soon as the device arrives and is mounted, you can start right away.

Can I have multiple devices at once?

Yes. You can have multiple devices — across several entrances or several locations. They all send data to the same cloud, so you see records from all devices in one place, in the same reports.

Do I need my own server or an IT person?

No. Everything runs in the cloud — you don't need a server, database, backups or special IT maintenance. Nothing is installed on your side.

What if an employee forgets or loses a card?

The employee can also sign in with a PIN instead of a card. A lost card is simply replaced with a new one by the administrator in the system.

What does it cost to run?

Beyond buying the device, the only additional cost is a fixed monthly subscription to the cloud app that processes the data and produces the reports. The cost is fixed and predictable. More about this on the Access Control Device page.
